Manso-Adubia (Ash.), July 1, GNA – Mrs. Ruth Osei, the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Women’s Organizer for the Manso-Adubia Constituency, has appealed to delegates to grant her another term in the upcoming constituency primaries to enable her continue her women’s development agenda.

Speaking after drawing the first position on the ballot paper, Mrs. Osei expressed gratitude to the party leadership, delegates, and supporters for their encouragement and unwavering support throughout her tenure.

She said that although she had chalked up significant successes and implemented several initiatives aimed at strengthening the party’s women’s wing, there was still more work to be done to further empower women and enhance the party’s grassroots structures.

“I have done a lot for the women’s wing, but I am not yet done. There are many things I still want to accomplish. I am appealing to my delegates to give me another opportunity to continue the good work and complete the projects we have started,” she said.

Mrs. Osei explained that a number of developmental projects and initiatives she introduced were still ongoing and required continuity to achieve their intended objectives.

According to her, completing these initiatives would make the women’s wing more vibrant, attractive, and better positioned to mobilise more women for the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.

She stressed that a strong and active women’s wing remained a key pillar for the growth of the NPP, adding that empowering women at the constituency level would significantly boost the party’s mobilisation efforts and electoral fortunes.

Mrs. Osei also appealed to all aspirants contesting the Manso-Adubia NPP constituency elections to conduct their campaigns with maturity, respect, and decorum.

She urged contestants to focus on their policies, achievements, and vision for the party instead of engaging in insults, personal attacks, and comments that could create divisions among party members.

According to her, politics characterised by insults and unnecessary insinuations did not benefit the party but rather undermined unity and cohesion.

“I am against insults and insinuations because they bring division within the party. Let us campaign with decorum, respect one another, and ensure that after the elections, we can all come together and work towards the victory of the NPP in the 2028 general elections,” she added.

Mrs. Osei expressed confidence that the constituency elections would be conducted peacefully, transparently, and fairly, allowing members to unite afterwards to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures.

She further called on delegates and party faithful to uphold unity, discipline, and commitment as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections.
