Hohoe (V/R), July 11, GNA – Mr Prince Ellis Antsroe, the only candidate contesting the Chairmanship position in the Hohoe New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency executives’ elections, has called for a united front in building the Party.

He said the Constituency was the most vibrant in the region as far as the NPP was concerned.

Mr Antsroe in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) during his visit to the St Francis College of Education auditorium voting Centre, said the Party needed a very strong leader to take it to a different level.

He said there was the need for everyone to come together, and he was the best person now to bring together both the old and young and chart a clear path for the success of the party.

Mr Antsroe called on other candidates to be willing to support the winner in their various contested positions and urged all delegates and entire party members to unite after results were declared.

He said although the National Democratic Congress had promised a lot for the Constituency, nothing had been done.

Mr Antsroe said that was a great opportunity for the NPP to come back stronger in 2028 with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as President for a lot to be done.

Mr Henry Ametefe, the Hohoe Constituency Director of Research and Elections of the Party, commended the peaceful nature of the exercise.

He said it was hoped that the delegates would be law abiding and respect the outcomes of the exercise.

Although voting began smoothly, progress of the exercise had slowed down despite any recorded glitches.
