Accra, July 18, GNA- The Republic of Ghana is set to benefit a guaranteed income of GHS 550million from KGL for the 2027 financial year.
This amount, which is based on a 50-50 of the gross gaming income(GGI), is expected to increase by 2028.
A credible source told the Ghana News Agency(GNA)that it followed the renegotiation of the NLA-KGL deal by the Committee set up by President John Mahama.
The source said the payment of the GHS 550million based on a 50-50 of the gross gaming income(GGI) was a deal to benefit the State through NLA and GRA.
According to the source , “this new income share model of 50-50 on the gross gaming income(GGI) is expected to be introduced across the entire lottery sector.”
