Sekondi, June 26, GNA – The Ghanaian Child has been advised to bridle honest and ethical living as key tools for decent living and progressive societies.

They are also to act in the collective good of the country and shun acts that had the tendency to derail personal and national development.

Mr Victor K. Brobbey, Esq., a prominent Ghanaian legal academic, consultant, and the Deputy Chairman of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) gave the advice when he engaged various schoolchildren at the Sekondi Presbyterian school.

The engagement formed part of broader activities embarked on by the Commission to mark this year’s constitution week.

The Constitution Week Celebration enables the Commission to engage various groupings in the society and educate them about the provisions in the constitution, rights and responsibilities and their civic duties as members of the Ghanaian state.

He encouraged them to be more Patriotic saying: “you will be here in the next twenty years ahead of us, be more Patriotic, care for each other and become great professionals doing marvellous things for the country, our collective resolve for progress is very cardinal”.

He pledged to occasionally pass through the walls of the school, teach and mentor them on career paths to build up a stronger workforce for the country.
