Dambai (O/R), May 27, GNA – SIC Life Insurance Company Limited, in collaboration with one of its Board Directors, has donated more than 50 bags of rice, a ram weighing about 180 kilogrammes, and an undisclosed amount of cash to the Muslim community in Dambai to support the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha 2026.
The items were presented by Mr Nelson Kofi Djabab, Member of Parliament for Krachi East Constituency and a Board Director of SIC Life Insurance Company Limited, during a brief ceremony in Dambai.
Mr Djabab said the donation formed part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at supporting Muslim communities during festive occasions.
He disclosed that SIC Life Insurance Company Limited had secured office space within the municipality and would officially inaugurate its Krachi East branch on June 8, 2026.
Mr Djabab appealed to residents within the constituency and beyond to patronise the company’s services after the commissioning of the branch.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community, Alhaji Hudu Haruna, Chief Imam of Dambai, expressed gratitude to SIC Life Insurance Company Limited and the Member of Parliament for the gesture.
He urged Muslims to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha peacefully and continue to pray for unity and development in the area.
