“From the market women, teachers, nurses, and traders in every town and village, you carry the weight of our homes and communities with quiet strength and you are the first teachers, the first caregivers, and often the first to sacrifice so that your children and families can have a better tomorrow”, she stated.
Nana Agyare indicated that: “Yet you do it with resilience and grace and rur region’s progress is built on that daily sacrifice, and our party’s future depends on honoring it with real action, not just words”.
“As someone seeking to serve as Bono Regional 1st Vice Chairperson, I am committed to making sure that women and mothers remain at the center of our organization and our development agenda”, she added.
Nana Agyare pledged to create space for women’s voices in decision-making at every level of the NPP, support women traders, farmers, and entrepreneurs with access to resources and training if she was giving the nod.
“I will also ensure that the NPP remains a home where every mother feels respected, supported, and empowered”, she added, saying that: “Today is for you to rest, to be celebrated, and to feel the gratitude of a region that sees your worth”.
Nana Agyare encouraged that: “To the single mothers, the grandmothers, the young mothers, and those who mother children not their own, your work matters and you are building the next generation of leaders, professionals, and citizens for Ghana.
