Accra, April 06, GNA – Tiger Eye PI, a private investigative organisation, has responded to claims made by anti-corruption campaigner Vitus Azeem, regarding alleged investigations into Parliament.
In a press statement issued on April 05, 2026, the investigative firm clarified that although it held engagements with anti-corruption Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) around the time of its judiciary exposé, no conclusions had been reached regarding investigations into Parliament.
The statement said the meeting referenced by Mr Azeem primarily focused on the judiciary exposé, during which questions were raised about why Parliament had not been investigated.
The organisation explained that in response, its lead investigator, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, indicated that Parliament would be considered for future investigations.
Tiger Eye PI stressed that such a response should not be interpreted as evidence of a concluded investigation or that any findings had been previewed to Members of Parliament, as suggested by Mr Azeem.
“The indication that we would look into Parliament, reflects ongoing interest and does not imply that any investigation has been concluded,” it stated.
The organisation emphasised that all institutions, including Parliament, remained within its scope of anti-corruption work.
It further clarified that it had neither concluded nor shelved any investigation into Parliament.
Tiger Eye PI reiterated its commitment to transparency, stating that any completed investigation would be made public without hesitation, in line with its established practice.
The organisation also challenged Mr Azeem to provide evidence if he had any information, suggesting that a completed investigation had been withheld.
The development follows public discussions on the scope of anti-corruption investigations in Ghana and the role of investigative bodies in promoting accountability.
