Haruna Moro to capture Western Regional NDC Organizer slot

Nkroful (W/R), April 23, GNA- Mr Haruna Moro Azika , the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman for Shama has declared his intention to contest the Western Regional Organizer position in the party’s upcoming internal elections. 

This follows the opening of nominations by the NDC for Constituency, Regional and National internal elections to elect branch and national executives to steer affairs of the party. 

 Mr Isaac Fraiku, Personal Aide to Mr Haruna Moro Azika told the Ghana News Agency in an interview that a major advantage for any political party leader was the ability to mobilize grassroot support and described that attribute as a common feature of  Mr Moro Azika’s political journey, citing his friendliness and ability to relate well with others as evidence of his grassroots mobilization skills. 

“Haruna Moro Azika is the type of politician who does not sugarcoat his politics only when he needs something in return. He is always ready to assist and listen to concerns from people he serves,” Mr Fraiku said. 

He described him as “undoubtedly the choice of the party youth and one of the most experienced and longest-serving constituency executives in the history of the NDC in the Western region. 

 He noted that,  Mr Azika’s political journey included two-terms as Deputy Youth Organizer, two-terms youth organizer at Tarkwa constituency, before becoming the current NDC Chairman of Shama. 

Mr Fraiku appealed to delegates in the Western Region to vote for  Mr Haruna Moro Azika to emerge as the new Western Regional NDC Organizer.
