Krachi Nchumuru MP, DCE donates food items to Muslims community for Ramadan

Chinderi (O/R), March 11, GNA – Mr Solomon Kuyon the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Krachi Nchumuru constituency, and Mr Martin Kofi Anato, the District Chief Executive (DCE), have presented food items to the Muslim community in the area to support them during the Ramadan season. 

The donation was aimed at easing the financial burden of food purchases during this period. 

Mr Kuyon, a consistent supporter of the Muslim community, urged them to pray for the development of the district and the country, emphasising that national progress would bring peace and prosperity to all Ghanaians, including Muslims. 

He noted that the gesture was part of his ongoing efforts to foster unity and peaceful coexistence among the various religious groups in the district.  

The MP also highlighted the importance of Ramadan as a period of spiritual reflection and self-improvement, encouraging Muslims to use the occasion to strengthen their faith and contribute positively to the development of the community. 

Mr Musah Watalah, receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community, thanked the MP and DCE for their support and called on others to follow suit in assisting religious groups in need. 

He expressed appreciation for the thoughtful gesture, stating that it would go a long way to alleviate the financial burden on Muslim families during the Ramadan season. 

Mr Watalah also commended the lawmaker for his dedication to the development of the district and urged Muslims to reciprocate the gesture by praying for the peace and prosperity of the nation. 

The support had been welcomed by the Muslim community, who appreciated the efforts of their leaders in supporting them during this significant period.  

The gesture was also seen as a demonstration of the government’s commitment to promoting interfaith dialogue and supporting the welfare of all citizens regardless of their religious affiliations.  

The Muslim community had promised to use the occasion to pray for the country’s leaders and the entire nation, seeking blessings and guidance from Allah. 

The presentation ceremony was attended by other dignitaries, including the District Coordinating Director, heads of departments, and other community leaders.
