Effia-Kwesimintsim Association of Small-Scale Industries elects new executives

Effia (W/R), March 19, GNA – The Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Branch of the Association of Small-Scale Industries (ASSI) has elected a seven-member executive body, to steer the affairs of the Association for the next four years. 

Mr Emmanuel Hansford Aidam, was elected the Chairman, with Mr Samuel Kofi Arko, as Vice Chairman, Mr Seth Armoo, Secretary, and Madam Rita Gyekye as the Assistant Secretary. 

The rest are; Mr Frank Tetteh, Treasurer, Mr Robert Essilfie, Organiser, and Madam Doris Asempah, as the Financial Secretary. 

Mr Patrick Ocloo, the Western Regional Chairman of ASSI, who sworn in the new executives into office at Effia, asked them to foster good relations among members and work towards a common goal for shared prosperity. 

He also advised them to lead the members with diligence, commitment, and integrity to help ensure the growth of the Association. 

Mr Aidam, the newly elected Chairman, on behalf his colleagues expressed gratitude to the members for the confidence reposed in them, to steer the affairs of the Association for the next four years. 

He said their election marked a new dawn for ASSI within the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipality, and that they would work assiduously to put the interests of members first in all their decisions. 

He said; “We will build on our strengths, empower our members through training and development, and foster partnerships for business growth.” 

Mr Aidam stated that they would also advocate policies that supported small-scale industries, to create opportunities for market access and financing to help grow the sector.
