Ho, Feb. 22, GNA – Keep Premium Solutions (KPS), a Ghanaian tech-developer has outdoored its purpose-built, cloud-based educational management and analytics platform, designed specifically for the educational sector.

The software, referred to as the “Schools’ Learning Outcome Analysis System (SLOAS) and the Regional Accountability System Software (RASS),” is designed for use at both Ghana Education Service (GES) school and administrative levels.

At a day’s stakeholder online adoption forum, Mr David Holy Mensah-Aidams, the Board Chairman of KPS, said educational managers including Directors continued to face significant challenges collecting, analysing and using data effectively, which directly undermined the ability to implement GES strategic plan and deliver quality outcomes for the over six million students in Basic schools.

He said with the implementation of the standards-based curriculum (SBC) and the common core curriculum (CCC), the GES had signalled a clear commitment to transforming how teaching and learning outcomes needed transformation.

He said SLOAS/RASS was a robust, data-driven approach to monitor and evaluate, as well as for policy decision-making; built with deep understanding of the National Council for Curriculum

and Assessment’s (NaCCA) curriculum framework, GES administrative structures and the practical realities of schools.

Mensah-Aidams said KPS was ready to support all Directorates through the adoption processes, providing training, technical support and the ongoing system enhancements.

“SLOAS/RASS will enhance the educational system, where decision is informed by data, where interventions are targeted and every child’s learning outcome could easily be tracked for quick improvement,” Mensah-Aidams added.

He assured that the future of the educational system depends on the collective commitment to using and understanding data for decision-making.

“Let the SLOAS/RASS be the instrument that unlocks the door to evidence-based, equitable and excellent education for all,” he added.

Mr Atubga Agamba, the Director of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) at the National Teaching Council (NTC), said KPS was an accredited and compliant service provider which had developed the SLOAS>RASS software to simplify the workload of teachers and managers of education enterprise and urged all stakeholders to embrace the app.

He said the App pinpointed subject-specifics rather than the generic modules used to highlight competences and identify gaps and challenges inherent in report writing for quick resolution.

Mr Edwin Peter Ketormanya, an IT specialist at KPS, facilitating the forum indicated SLOAS provides the data infrastructure required to measure progress against Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2018-2030 indicators, track equity metrics across districts, and report on learning outcome improvements with precision.

He emphasised that the software provided real-time student performance tracking across all subjects and assessment types, offers automated report card generation aligned with the Standards-Based Curriculum grading system, provided comprehensive attendance monitoring and trend analysis, BECE performance analysis with historical comparison and progression tracking.

The software created multi-level dashboards for School Heads, Circuit Supervisors, District Directors, Regional Directors, and National-level administrators, Behavioural tracking, student conduct analysis, and alumni testimonial management, AI-powered lesson plan generation and assessment creation tools are handy.

Mr Francis Yao Agbemadi, the Volta Regional Director of Education said with the deployment of the software, education managers would be better positioned to monitor school performance indicators with greater accuracy and in real time; strengthen supervision and provide targeted support to teachers and headteachers and optimise the allocation and utilisation of resources.

“We can ensure that this initiative strengthens governance structures, enhances performance monitoring, and ultimately advances the quality, integrity, and credibility of our educational institutions,” he said.

He said the session is a renewed call to action – one that challenges us to uphold the highest standards of efficiency, professionalism, integrity, and accountability in the delivery of educational services across the Region.

The Forum was attended by Directors of Education at the District, Municipal and Regional levels, Conference of Teacher Union, Conference of Heads of Basic Schools.
