The Living Yahweh 7th Day Sabbath Assemblies presents awards to four service bands

Accra, Dec. 19, GNA – The Living Yahweh 7th Day Sabbath Assemblies has presented sets of musical instruments to four security service bands that participated in the 2025 Season ‘2’ Ahoma Nsia Service Band Show. 

The Ghana Prisons Band emerged first in the competition, which also featured the Ghana Armed Forces Band—the defending champions from Season ‘1’, the Ghana Police Band, and the Ghana Service Band. 

Each band received a set of musical instruments all valued at a total cost of GHS650,000, donated by the Living Yahweh 7th Day Sabbath Assemblies. 

The event, organised by the management of 7DSGH TV under the auspices of the7th Day Sabbath  Assemblies, was held at the Anyaa Market in the Ga Central Municipality of the Greater Accra Region. 

 It aimed to foster cordial relations and unity among security service personnel and the public. 

The occasion also honoured four distinguished Ghanaians for their contributions to national development. They are Madam Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong, Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service; DCOP Dr Frank Hukporti, Director of Bands, Ghana Police Service; Okoforogya Nana Dr Dr Albert Brown Gaisie, Patron of Ahoma Nsia Band; and Pat Thomas, known in real life as Nana Kwabena Amo Mensah, the legendary musician. 

Apostle Philemon Okoh Agyemang, Leader and Founder of the Living Yahweh Sabbath Assemblies, said music, apart from evangelism, serves as a means to positively transform lives and create love in society. 

“As far as the Almighty Creator of the universe grants me life, I will make sure I honour people who are alive and have used their creative talents to promote the development of their fellow humans in society,” he stated.
