He further urged them to be selfless and blameless and to win more souls unto Lord and later give good account of their stewardship.

“You must be faithful stewards like Joseph in the house of Potiphar and the kingdom of Pharaoh; like Ezra as he meticulously accounted for the goods of the temple,” he added.

During the induction, Pastor Dr Yeboah vowed to serve in the general interest of Accra City Conference, and as the Executive Committee of the Conference determined.

He also pledged to adhere to the policies of Accra City Conference, West-Central Africa Division and the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church, always and at all times and work in harmony with the South West Ghana Union Conference and the West-Central Africa Division Executive Committee in consultation with his fellow officers.

“We need to rise and shine to proclaim that the promise of God that Jesus is coming to take us all to some beautiful place where we will be glad and rejoice in salvation, will never fail.”

“Surely Jesus is coming with power, strength and vigour to take us all which we mast not let our heart be troubled, but to trust in God for there is more than enough room in his Father’s house, if this were not so, he will not have told us.”

Later, Pastor Dr Solomon Okoe Trebi Hammond, out-going President of the conference, handed over the baton to the New President, with a call on him to execute his duties fairly and win more souls for church growth and for Jesus.
