GRA shines at IPR Excellence Awards

Accra, Nov. 18, GNA – The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has won two major honours at the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Annual General Meeting and Excellence Awards.

The Authority was adjudged the “Best PR Campaign of the Year” and the “Best Digital and Social Media Campaign of the Year.”

IPR Ghana recognised the GRA for its exceptional contributions to public education and stakeholder engagement, reaffirming its leadership in strategic communication and public engagement.

“The dual victory underscores GRA’s dedication to innovative communication, increased taxpayer engagement, and the effective use of digital platforms to promote voluntary compliance and support national development,” a release copied to the Ghana News Agency said on Tuesday.

The Best Digital Campaign Award highlighted GRA’s innovative approaches to digital engagement, including targeted online content, data-driven messaging, and interactive taxpayer support platforms.

Mrs Florence Asante, the Deputy Commissioner in charge of Communication and Public Affairs, leads the Communication and Public Affairs Department of the Authority.

Receiving the honours on behalf of the GRA, Ms Dzinunya Mawuli of the Public Education, Media Relations and Review Unit, commended the department and staff whose dedication and creativity have strengthened the Authority’s relationship with the public.

She said the recognition would motivate the team to intensify efforts aimed at promoting tax compliance and supporting government’s revenue mobilisation agenda.
