Accra, Nov.10, GNA – Danny List, a Ghanaian pro-golfer has ended an incredible season crowned by his remarkable achievement as the recipient of the 2025 Charlie Sifford Memorial Exemption, along with several other successes in the DP World tour.
The talented golfer’s exploits this season have not only earned him international recognition but also positioned him as Ghana’s most promising ambassadors in the global golf arena.
List, who has demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination throughout his career, earned his DP World Tour card in 2025 following a brief injury setback.
The 27-year-old speaking in an interview with the GNA Sport described the season as a successful one, despite a few injuries that sidelined him for a period.
He noted that the DP World Tour event in South Africa stands out as one of the highlights of his career, as fans continuously applauded and cheered him for his impressive performance.
The youngster, who is regarded as West Africa’s leading golfer said he is focused on making a strong comeback from injury as he sets his sights on major titles next season.
Danny List also secured a third-place finish on the HotelPlanner Tour at the MyGolfLife Open, marking a significant milestone in his professional career.
The Tiger Woods mentee remains optimistic about rising to the ranks of the world’s elite golfers.
In 2021, he established the Danny List Foundation in Ghana, an initiative dedicated to nurturing the next generation of golfers and giving back to the community.
