Ouagadougou, Sept 3, (dpa/GNA) – The parliament in Burkina Faso has passed a law, prohibiting “homosexual practices,” punishable by up to five years in prison, Justice Minister Edasso Rodrigue Bayala said late on Monday.
The minimum foreseen penalty is two years’ imprisonment plus fines.
Repeat offenders without local citizenship are to be expelled from the country.
