Manso Amenfi (WN/R), Sept. 02, GNA – Mrs Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Wassa Amenfi Central has fully sponsored over 85 young men and women in the constituency to participate in work abroad screening exercise.
The exercise aimed to provide youth with the opportunity to secure employment abroad, acquire valuable skills to help them to support their families and communities.
In an interview with the media, the MP said the initiative would demonstrate the commitment to youth employment and development-driven leadership in the constituency.
She expanded the gesture of youth empowerment through education and digital support, by assisting students in tertiary education in the constituency with 10GB of data and a sum of GHC 200, to support their research work in their various schools.
Mrs Cudjoe stated that the initiative had already touched the lives of over 400 youth in Amenfi Central, since education was the backbone of development, and pledged her commitment to creating opportunities that would equip the youth for future development.
The MP encouraged the youth not to abandon their dreams, but to remain committed to building their future with determination.
The beneficiaries appreciated the MP’s gesture, describing it as a bold initiative in the fight against youth unemployment and a practical step towards opening doors for the younger generation.
