Tema, 05, GNA-The TDC Ghana Limited, on Thursday, launched its new 24-hour call centre, prestige, and premium services to provide its clients with convenience, efficient and enhanced services.
Mr Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, the Managing Director of TDC, explained that the 24-hour call centre is a support centre that operated around the clock, staffed with three shifts to provide continuous assistance for customers.

Mr Nunekpeku added that the premium service was aimed at providing a fast-track processing service for selected applications, including searches, certificates, offer letters, and declarations.
He said with upgraded facilities, clients can walk in to enjoy access to a premium lounge, which presents a more comfortable and exclusive environment.
He stated that prestige services also provide high-quality services and processing times, which allow clients to apply for services wherever they find themselves.
Mr Nunekpeku stated that TDC has rolled out a dispatch riding service for fast delivery of documents to clients within Tema and Accra, while those in the region would be allowed to choose courier services to deliver their documents.
Mr Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, the Minister of Works, Housing and Water Resources, commended the TDC for the initiative, noting that it was a strategic response to President Mahama’s resetting agenda and a call for a 24-hour economy.

Mr Adjei added that it brings about a significant transformation in public service delivery while enhancing efficiency, improving direct and indirect employment, and boosting confidence in the public service.
He called on residents, clients, and stakeholders of the TDC to actively collaborate with the TDC and support the government to achieve its resetting agenda.
The TDC Ghana Limited was established in 1952 by an Act of Parliament with the sole responsibility to plan and develop about 63 square miles of public land for various land cases and manage the township that had been created to provide accommodation.

TDC was given a 125-year lease to manage the Tema Acquisition Area. The company in 2017 converted into a limited liability company with an enhanced mandate to expand its operational and geographical scope beyond the Tema Acquisition Area.
