King Paluta’s ‘Aseda’ song featured in 2025 BECE questions

Accra, June 18, GNA – Music sensation Thomas Adjei Wiredu, often known as King Paluta, achieved a significant milestone when his award-winning song “Aseda” was included in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) questions.

The “Aseda” song, which won the Most Popular Song category at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), was included in the Creative Arts and Design exam papers.

The question, which appeared in Section B, challenged students to identify the themes presented by King Paluta in his song “Aseda” in reference to Ghanaian society.

The inclusion of King Paluta’s “Aseda” song highlights the music gem’s incredible songwriting abilities, which has helped him become a favourite among many music fans.

Despite missing out on the “Artiste of the Year” title, King Paluta’s achievement has gained widespread recognition from social media users.

The addition of “Aseda” reinforces the song’s long-standing popularity and encouraging message.

King Paluta continues to make waves in the music industry, especially following the release of “Foko,” “Thank You,” and the newly released “Asikyire.”
