Sunyani, (Bono), May 29, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to take his nationwide “Thank You Tour” to the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions.
The President is expected to begin the tour in Bono East on Thursday, May 29, continue to Bono on Friday, May 30 and ends in Ahafo Region on Saturday, May 31.
According to a statement issued at the Presidency, the “Thank You Tour” would enable the President to express gratitude to the Chiefs and People of the three regions for their massive support for him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 General Election.
In a copy of the statement made available to the Ghana News Agency, President Mahama is scheduled to address a durbar of the chiefs and people of the Bono East region at Kintampo at 1400 hours.
He is expected to address a similar durbar of the chiefs and people of the Bono region in Sunyani and wrap up this leg on Saturday, May 31, with a similar durbar at Goaso in the Ahafo region.
