Sunyani, (Bono), May 17, GNA – The Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) Ghana, develop a-five-year development plan to aggressively push the holistic spiritual and infrastructural growth and development of the Deeper Life Bible Church, nationwide.

Pastor David Asumani Obeng, the out-going Bono Regional Overseer of the Church disclosed this, explaining that 2025-2029 strategic plan was in line with on-going restructuring of the church to achieve the vision of Pastor Dr Edward Kofi Tumsiah, the newly appointed National Overseer of the DCLM, Ghana.

He explained that the strategic development plan hinged on pillars of building and strengthening the numerical and spiritual strength of the children, youth, campus, and adult ministries of the church.

Pastor Obeng was speaking at a meeting of the church to officially introduce Pastor Samuel Abgenyafia, the newly appointed Coordinating Regional Overseer for the middle belt of the church, comprising Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions to its pastors, and workers.

It was attended by the various Divisional, Group and District and Location Pastors as well as workers of the church drawn from Abesim, Yamfo, Techire, Ohene-Djan, Chiraa, Kuotokrom, Odomase, Nsoatre, Wawasua, and Atronie.

Others also came from Agozo, Area Four, Newtown, and Ridge groups of the church in the Sunyani Municipality.

Pastor Obeng said the strategic plan also sought to build churches to advance the kingdom of God in deprived communities, nationwide, and stressed the need for the church to strengthen its existing unity and social cohesion to achieve its vision for the nation.

He outlined several spirit-filled programmes designed for the year, including the impending Global Workers Conference, to be held on Accra (May 28 to May 31), the National Singles Seminar, also in Accra (June 21) as well as the National Workers Conference to be held in Kumasi (July 31 to August 2).

Pastor Obeng said Ghana was set to host Dr William F Kumuyi, the Founder and General Superintendent of the DCLM for the “Gatekeepers” conference by the close of the year.

He said that the programme sought to specifically target and win influential people including Ministers of State, Members of Parliament as well as people in higher national positions to the Kingdom of God.

“When our leaders are won by Christ, the issue of corruption and other ills inimical to the growth and development of the nation would be tackled,” Pastor Obeng stated.

He said without prayers, all those programmes could not be successful, and asked the church to pray and commit those programmes to God for divine guidance.

On his part, Pastor Agbenyafia commended the church leadership in the region and inspired them to do more in soul winning and discipleship and to advance the Kingdom of God.

He encouraged the pastors, leaders, and workers of the church to strive hard in building their spiritual life.

Pastor Agbenyafia referenced the chapters of John 5, Genesis 37 and Daniel 2 and asked the pastors and the leaders and the workers of the church to pick inspiration from the shining examples of John, Joseph and Daniel, saying “we must strive hard be a shining example in our churches, work places and society”.
