Accra, March 7, GNA – Guinness Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local talents by partnering with creators across various industries to empower communities and promote economic growth.
The beverage giant aims to provide platforms for artisans, craftsmen, and creative entrepreneurs to showcase their skills while fostering sustainable opportunities for development.
Speaking at Guinness Smooth Media and Influencer Soirée, Mrs Sabina Manu, Marketing Manager of Guinness Ghana, emphasised the company’s dedication to uplifting local creators.
“At Guinness Ghana, we believe in the power of creativity and craftsmanship. By collaborating with local talents, we are not only celebrating Ghanaian heritage but also contribute to skills development and job creation within communities,” she said.
She said, “We are looking to do even more work with some local partners, local creators, you’d see across Africa, Guinness smooth has been reinvested and relaunched. And they are partnering with very interesting local creators, fashion houses, and art creators”.
The Marketing Director said Guinness was looking forward to championing people to continue to do the great work in their communities and co-create with other international brands.
“So for us, this is step one, we’re definitely looking down the lines of putting Ghanians on the international map just like we ass doing with other African countries”, she added.
The initiative aligns with Guinness Ghana’s broader sustainability and social impact agenda, which focuses on empowering small businesses, promoting entrepreneurship, and preserving cultural craftsmanship.
Speaking on the launch of Guinness Smooth, she said the beverage has been redefined with smooth and refreshing taste for consumers, explaining that not everyone likes hard drinks hence the need to make beverages with perfect balance and taste.
“It’s a lighter beer and an extension of the Guinness trade mark, so everyone who knows Guinness for an extraus, which we call Guinness is the same beverage”, Mrs Manu said.
She urged young people to drink responsibly, stressing that the health of individuals was necessary for the Ghanaian economy to be productive and efficient.
However, the company plans to roll out a series of workshops, mentorship programmes, and funding opportunities to help creators scale their businesses.
Through this commitment, Guinness Ghana aims to not only celebrate local craftsmanship but also create lasting economic impact, ensuring that creative industries continue to thrive within Ghanaian communities.
The event saw Ghanaian youths, social media personalities, influential individuals, artists and business owners gracing the occasion.
