Kadjebi (O/R), Jan 21, GNA – Residents of Kadjebi in the Oti Region have described President John Dramani Mahama’s Ministerial nominees as most qualified and competent persons for their jobs.

They were sharing their views on the Ministerial vetting currently ongoing via the Ghana News Agency (GNA).

Mr. Isaac Kokah, a resident and History Lecture at the E.P College of Education, Bimbilla, Northern Region, said Mr. Eric Opoku, the Food and Agriculture minister-designate for instance, was a Messiah for that Ministry as he had enough experience in that area, so no doubt for him in delivering on mandate.

He mentioned Mr. Kwame Governs Agbodza, the Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, who appeared before the Vetting Committee on Monday, January 20, as another Minister he envies for the job as he had all the qualities to be nominated for the portfolio.

Mr. Kokah said Agbodza being an Architect and once the minority spokesperson on Roads and Highways, he would deliver well on his mandate.

“Dr. Cassiel Atto Forson, the Minister-designate for Finance, who also appeared before the Vetting Committee already was another Minster, I cherished so much, as he had all the qualities and expertise,” he added.

Ms. Delight Ama Serwaa Akey, a Public Servant resident told GNA that the Ministers-designate are competent and deserved their nominations.

She prayed for them to deliver well and do not disappoint Ghanaians as everyone wanted to see Ghana progress.

Mr. Frank Adjei, a Carpenter resident also told GNA that he hoped the Ministers would work well to see Ghana moving forward.

He said “they have learnt from their past mistakes, so would deliver to the best of their abilities”.
