Accra, Aug 29, GNA – The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) will launch its 26th media Awards and unveil a seven-member committee to see to the selection of Journalists to be awarded, on Wednesday, 31st August, at the International Press Center, Accra.
The 26th edition of the Award, according to a release signed by GJA’s General Secretary, Kofi Yeboah, would be held in November, and “will be bigger and better, as the event has undergone a review to make it more attractive.”
The seven-member GJA Awards Review Committee, chaired by Dr. Sarah Akrofi-Quarcoo, a lecturer at the Department of Communication Studies, University of Ghana, had presented its report to the National Executive of the GJA.
The National Executive encouraged sponsors and members to patronise the awards to make it successful.
