Ashaiman, June 16, GNA-Pastor Shadrack Addo Annan, Minister for the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) has admonished Christians to practise the act of giving to attract the blessings of God.
He said Christians must have empathy for others and give cheerfully without expecting anything in return.
Speaking in a sermon on Sunday at Lebanon English Assembly of the Church of Pentecost in Ashaiman, he stressed the need for Christians to imitate Christ who displayed a great amount of love and compassion for the poor.
“Fellow Christian what sacrifices are you making? How are you making a difference? he said.
Pastor Annan indicated that whoever gave wholeheartedly would attract blessings and be enriched, adding that one who waters would himself be watered also.
He said giving could be a way of expressing gratitude and instilling gratitude, whether one is on the giving or receiving end, gratitude through giving was essential to happiness, health, and social bonds.
“For example, when you do express gratitude in words and actions, you boost other people’s positivity as well as your own,” he added.
