Revival Assemblies of God supports Hohoe Hospital fight Covid-19

Hohoe (V/R), April 01, GNA – The Revival Assemblies of God Church in Hohoe has donated GH¢2,000.00 to the Hohoe Municipal Hospital in support of the fight against COVID-19.

The donation is to help the Hospital acquire needed logistics and to also adequately prepare in the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Mrs. Mabel Adulai, wife of the Senior Pastor, Apostle Dr. Ernest N. Adulai, who presented the money to Mr. Andrews Teddy Ofori, the Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), said the donation was a token from the Church.

She urged the citizenry to adhere to the directives, precautionary and preventive measures to enable the Municipality chalk success in the fight against COVID-19.

Apostle Adulai was of the view that due to the geographical location of Hohoe, a border town, there was the need for the upgrade of the Hospital’s laboratory to be able to test samples from suspected coronavirus cases.

Mr. Andrews Teddy Ofori, Municipal Chief Executive for Hohoe expressed gratitude to the couple and the Church for the kind gesture and said the Assembly was renovating the case management centre, while efforts were being made to sensitize residents to curb the spread of the virus.

Dr. Pius Mensah, Medical Superintendent of Hohoe Municipal Hospital and Acting Hohoe Municipal Director of Health Services, said the donation came in handy to support efforts by the Hospital in preparation towards the fight against the coronavirus.
