Techiman, (Bono East) Oct. 8, GNA-Mr Francis Owusu Antwi, the Bono East Regional Minister, has directed contractors executing the 24-Hour Economy Market projects in the region to speed up and complete the projects on time.
Mr Antwi was interacting with the contractors at a meeting at Techiman.
He noted the critical role of the markets in boosting economic activities across the region and said that upon completion, the markets would create the opportunity for farmers to sell their produce on time as well to prevent post-harvest losses.
Mr Isaac Donkor, the Kintampo North Municipal Chief Executive, said the construction of the 24-Hour Market in the municipality was progressing and encouraged the other contractors to speed up with other projects.
