Nkwanta (O/R), Sept. 29, GNA – Mr Sulemana Mumuni, the Oi Regional Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged party executives and aspiring constituency executives to remain united throughout and after the ongoing vetting process.
He said the NDC had consistently demonstrated its commitment to democratic principles and, therefore, called on all members to preserve the party’s unity as they prepared for the internal elections.
Mr Mumuni made the appeal in an interview during the vetting of the aspirants seeking various constituency executive positions ahead of the Election 2028.
He assured the aspirants that the party hierarchy had put in place the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth, transparent, and credible vetting process.
The Regional Organiser also urged all candidates to conduct clean and issue-based campaigns, reminding them that the contest was an internal party election and should not create divisions among members.
Some of the aspirants in an interview with the Ghana News Agency also appealed to delegates to have confidence in their leadership abilities and support them with their votes to enable them to contribute effectively to the growth and development of the NDC in the constituency level.
