Jamdede (Bono), Sept. 14, GNA – Scores of media practitioners joined mourners to pay their last respect to the late Justice Bernard Danquah, a popular Berekum-based radio presenter, known in the media circle as ‘99K’.
The mortal remains of “99K”, a former General Manager of the Jinijini-based Adikanfo FM in the Berekum West District was laid in state for public view at Jamdede, his hometown and later interred at the Amomaso public cemetery.
‘99K’ died in a traffic motor crash on Friday July 25, 2026, and before his heartbreaking demise, he was the host of the Adikanfo FM political talk show.
He began his media career at the Drobo-based Kiss FM, worked at the Berekum-based Chris FM as well as the Sunyani-based Akonoba FM.
Some of the media practitioners described the late ‘99K’ as a respected radio presenter, saying that his sudden demise remained a significant loss to the region’s media fraternity and the nation’s broadcasting landscape.
‘99K’ left behind a widow and three children.
