Tadzewu (V/R), Sept. 23, GNA – The Apostles Revelation Society (ARS) Church, Tadzewu Gbedzi Branch, has honoured Torgbui Adzenu III, Divisional Chief of Dzodze Afeyeme Agorgorme Sreme, for his support towards the successful organisation of the Church’s Sixth Great Transition Celebration.
The traditional ruler received recognition during the celebration, where the church expressed appreciation for his contribution, goodwill, and support towards the event.
The honour underscored the importance of collaboration between traditional authorities and religious institutions in promoting unity, mutual support, and community development.
Torgbui Adzenu, in his remarks, expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the church for the recognition, saying such gestures strengthened the relationship between traditional leaders and religious bodies.
He urged members of the ARS Church to continue to uphold love, peace and unity among themselves, stressing that unity was essential to the growth and progress of any institution and community.
The Divisional Chief also encouraged the congregation to embrace and practise the messages and teachings communicated by their church leaders, saying members had a responsibility to demonstrate positive values in their daily lives.
He urged them to serve as good examples to people outside the church through their conduct, interactions, and commitment to the values of love, respect, and peaceful coexistence.
The Sixth Great Transition Celebration brought together members of the ARS Church from Dzodze, Agbozume, Abor, Akatsi and others, traditional authorities, families, friends and other well-wishers to commemorate the occasion.
The event also provided an opportunity for the church and traditional leadership to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening relationships and supporting initiatives that contribute to the wellbeing and development of the community.
