Accra, Aug 13, GNA – The Ghana Police Service has arrested Sibamay Zakaria the man captured in a viral video assaulting a suspect in handcuffs.
Zakaria is in custody assisting investigations and will soon be put before the court, a Police statement said on Thursday.
The statement said the Police Professional Standards Bureau was investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and all persons found culpable would be taken through the necessary disciplinary processes.
