Mr Richard Ahiagbah, Director of Communication of the NPP, said this in Accra when he spoke to the media following the regional executive elections held as part of the party’s internal reorganisation.

The result of the Western North Regional Chairmanship election was pending.

Mr Ahiagbah said the party was satisfied with the outcome of the elections and believed the results demonstrated that its structures were being realigned and energised for the 2028 elections.

He said the NPP was prepared to wrestle power from the NDC in the 2028 polls.

The newly elected regional executives are expected to oversee mobilisation, organisational activities and preparations for the party’s presidential and parliamentary campaigns.
