Kofiase (Ash), July 28, GNA – Mr. Kwadwo Nkansah Fordjour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Otuasekan Community Bank, has expressed delight at the successes chalked during the 2024/2025 financial years of the bank.
Presenting his report to the 37th Annual General Meeting of shareholders, held at Kofiase, near Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region, he said total assets of the bank grew from GHc335,922,010 in 2024, to GHc404,670,430 in 2025.
“This posted a growth rate of 20.47 per cent; while its stated capital for 2025, was GHc6,389,630, as against GHc4,028,486 in 2024, up by 58.61 per cent,” Mr Nkansah Fordjour stated.
He said the bank’s total deposits for the reviewing year stood at GHc355,403,620, against the previous years of GHc293,780,833, representing a percentage rise of 20.98; out of which an amount of GHc79,906,717 were disbursed as loans to members.
Mr. Nkansah Fordjour disclosed that, profit after tax in 2024, was GHc8,003,726, but increased to GHc10,074,126 in 2025, recording a growth rate of 25.87 per cent.
“Thus, proposed dividends to shareholders also went up from GHc2,000,932, in 2024, to GHc2,518,532, during the reviewing year, up by 25.87 per cent,” he said.
The Chairman commended the board, management, staff, shareholders and all other stakeholders for their diverse contributions to the bank’s exceptional performance as shown by the statistics above.
He therefore, urged existing and prospective customers, to continue to have trust and confidence in the bank, because it was well positioned to provide them with distinguished, exceptional and satisfactory services.
