Manso-Akropong (Ash), July 09, GNA – Mr Kofi Acheampong, an aspiring NPP constituency chairman for the Manso Adubia, has stressed the need for the party to remain focus in its quest to recapture political power in the 2028 general elections.
Speaking to delegates after donating assorted items to inmates of the Manso Akropong orphanage in the Amansie South district, he said it was important for the delegates to elect competent constituency executives to help secure victory for the party.
Mr Acheampong, who is the incumbent constituency chairman, said the party needed executives capable of leading the party to victory in the 2028 general elections under the leadership of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
He pointed out that; the party could not afford to delay in recapturing political power in the next general elections.
He, therefore, urged delegates to vote for aspirants with the competence, experience, commitment and integrity to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and effectively mobilise support for victory in the next general elections.
According to him, electing capable and dedicated constituency executives would be crucial to building a united and formidable party capable of delivering victory for Mr. Bawumia in 2028.
Mr. Acheampong also appealed for peaceful, transparent and violence-free constituency elections, emphasizing that internal contests should promote unity rather than division.
“This is our own internal election.
We should not fight ourselves because, after the elections, we will continue to work together as one family towards the common objective of returning the NPP to power in 2028,” he said.
Expressing confidence in his re-election bid, Mr. Acheampong said he believed delegates would renew his mandate based on his record of dedicated service and commitment to the growth and development of the Manso Adubia constituency.
“I have worked tirelessly for this constituency, and I am confident the delegates will give me another opportunity to continue serving the party and its members,” he stated.
