Nkwanta (O/R), July 11, GNA – More than 500 delegates in Nkwanta South Constituency of the Oti Region have cast their ballots as at 1200hours in the ongoing New Patriotic Party constituency executive elections.
A total of 1,325 delegates are expected to cast their votes at the end of the elections, while 34 aspirants are contesting for various constituency positions.
Doris Nana Yaa Abronye, Oti Region Election Supervisor of NPP urged delegates to vote for the right candidates that can bring the party to power come 2028 general elections
The voting exercise is ongoing smoothly under tight security and strict adherence to electoral guidelines, recording, and a peaceful and orderly process so far.
The delegates were reported to have arrived at the election centre as early 0500hours to exercise their franchise, with Party officials supervising the process to ensure transparency and credibility.
Election is still ongoing without any technical issues being recorded so far.
