Let us use the voting exercise to come together as one – Oti Regional women organizer hopeful

Nkwanta (O/R), July 11, GNA – Madam Olivia Yawa Aglago, aspiring Oti Regional Women organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on delegates and party faithful to use the constituency executive elections as an opportunity to strengthen unity rather than create division within the party.

Madam Aglago, who previously served as the Oti Regional Women’s Organiser, appealed to delegates to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the election process and remain committed to the collective goal of returning the NPP to power in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to Ghana News Agency in the ongoing constituency executive elections, she stressed that internal elections should not create bitterness among members, noting that every aspirant has the constitutional right to seek office and contribute to the growth of the party.

According to her, the outcome of the election should be accepted in good faith by both winners and losers, adding that the party’s strength lies in its unity and ability to work together after every internal contest.

“Elections will come and go, but the NPP will remain one family.

Let us vote according to our conscience and come together immediately after the exercise to build a stronger party,” she urged.
