Kadjebi (O/R), July 22, GNA – Madam Janet Adade, the newly elected Guan Constituency Chairperson of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Oti Region, has called on the party’s executives and members to work tirelessly to win the Guan parliamentary seat and significantly increase the party’s votes in the 2028 general election.
She said achieving that objective would require unity, commitment and the collective efforts of all party faithful, irrespective of their roles within the party.
Madam Adade made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after her election as the Constituency Chairperson.
She stressed that the success of the party would depend on its ability to unite behind a common vision and actively engage the grassroots.
“We need to bring everyone on board to achieve that result. Every member has a role to play if we are to win the Guan Constituency seat and improve our performance in the 2028 elections,” she said.
Madam Adade, the only woman elected as a Constituency Chairperson in the Oti Region, pledged to lead with humility and inclusiveness, assuring party members that her leadership would be guided by service rather than authority.
“I am not going to be a boss but a servant, so that together we can win the seat,” she said.
The Chairperson appealed to constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, polling station executives, patrons and supporters to close ranks after the internal elections and channel their energies towards strengthening the party.
She expressed optimism that with unity, discipline and sustained grassroots mobilisation, the NPP would be well-positioned to win the Guan Constituency seat and improve its electoral fortunes in the 2028 polls.
