Hohoe (V/R), June 27, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has begun vetting of aspirants for the various positions of the Party at the Constituency level in Hohoe.
The two-day exercise is expected to vet 32 aspirants for the positions of Chairman, First and Second Vice Chairman, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Organiser, Youth Organiser, Women Organiser, Treasurer, Nasara Organiser and Communication.
Mr Anthony Akpah, Secretary, Elections Committee, said the results of the vetting was to be communicated after the vetting process and followed with balloting for positions on the ballot for voting.
He said the NPP’s reorganisation began from the polling stations to the electoral areas with the constituency elections being the next on the Party’s schedule.
Mr Akpah said the process had been smooth because as a Party affair, members understood that it was not about disagreements but friendly engagements.
He said the Constituency elections were scheduled for July 11, 2026.
