Links, Team CSR Commission Facilities at Twedaase Primary

Tema (GA/R), May 6, GNA – Links, Incorporated, in collaboration with Team CSR Ghana, has donated educational materials and commissioned a renovated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory and other facilities at Twedaase Primary School in Tema. 

The ICT laboratory has been fully equipped with computers. Additional projects included the construction of a mechanised borehole with a polytank and the renovation of the school’s toilet facility. 

The organisations also provided educational materials, including textbooks, stationery, and playing kits, to support teaching and learning. 

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Dr Cheryl Simmons Gray, President of Links, Incorporated, expressed satisfaction with the successful completion of the projects. She said the intervention would strengthen the 11-year relationship between the organisation and the school. 

Dr Gray noted that Links, Incorporated remains committed to addressing the needs of underserved communities, with a focus on sustainability, empowerment, and community service. 

In his remarks, Mr Jonathan Akuamoah, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Team CSR Ghana, said the organisation seeks to empower and connect corporations with local communities through educational and social support initiatives. He urged the school authorities to maintain the facilities to ensure their longevity and continued benefit. 

Mr Ellis Tsidi Kwaku Kwao, Headmaster of Twedaase Primary School, expressed gratitude to the two organisations for the support and assured them that the school would make good use of the facilities to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
