Abokobi, May 27, GNA – Bishop Dr Harris Akomea Nantwi, Founder, Grace Covenant Chapel International, has urged Christians to consistently support their pastoral leadership through prayer, stressing that spiritual unity is essential for the growth and direction of the church.

Bishop Dr Nantwi made the call during a thanksgiving service held in honour of Prophet Nana Yaw Nkansah, Head Pastor of the Jehovah Shammah Church, at Abokobi in the Greater Accra Region.

The service brought together church leaders, elders and congregants to celebrate pastoral leadership and spiritual growth within the ministry.

Bishop Dr Nantwi emphasised that the presence of Christ in the lives of believers represented a source of hope and transformation regardless of individual circumstances.

“Christ in us is the hope of glory. It does not matter the situation we find ourselves in or where we think our glory has gone. Because a glorious light has shone upon us, darkness has no choice but to flee,” he stated.

He urged the congregation, especially the youth, to remain steadfast and confront their challenges with faith rather than despair.

According to bishop, words of faith and positive confession could activate divine intervention and break cycles of stagnation.

Bishop Dr Nantwi described the occasion as both a privilege and a renewed opportunity to advance the work of the ministry, commending Prophet Nkansah for his dedication to spiritual development.

Responding to the honour, Prophet Nana Yaw Nkansah expressed appreciation to the founder, church elders, and members of the congregation for their support and mentorship.

He declared that the ministry was entering a season of “divine acceleration”, where long-standing goals would be achieved with greater ease.
