Mr Akwaboa made the call when addressing the chiefs and people of Jaman North at a forum at Suma-Ahenkro when he extended his regional “Accounting to the People” initiative to the district.
He explained that the forum reflected the government’s commitment to strengthening transparency, participatory governance, and responsive leadership.
Mr Akwaboa said that successive NDC governments prioritize development and would continue to drive investments to Bono and to bring the development of the region to the next level.
He said that would manifest in the construction of health facilities, nursing training institutions, road networks, electricity expansion, and the establishment of other tertiary institutions.
Mr Akwaboa said just within a year, substantial development projects had been brought to the district, adding that those interventions would greatly address key challenges confronting the people, and transform their lives.
He said electricity would be extended to deprived communities in the district soon to open up those communities for economic growth and development.
