Sekondi, May 20, GNA – The Ahantaman Community Bank has gifted the Western Regional Directorate of the Ghana Education Service a mechanized water system to ensure access to clean water.

The Right Reverend Daniel De-Graft Brace, Board Chairman of the bank, at the handing over ceremony noted how pleased the bank was to touch and impact the lives of communities and institutions in a more positive manner.

“Our aim is to impact lives and support communities through our services,” he added.

Rt. Rev. Brace reminded the Directorate of the need to take proper care of the facility and urged Ghanaians to become better environmental stewards.

Mr. Samuel Nyanzu Ackah, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said solving such a critical health and sanitation issue among the staff would also afford them the peace of mind to focus and work well for the citizens that they served.

He noted that the bank remained committed to community development through innovative products and services, particularly its payroll and digital banking platforms under the “One Bank, One System, Six Channels” initiative.

He said the project reflected the bank’s commitment to supporting institutions that contributed to national development.

Madam Ellen Anti, Deputy Western Regional Director of GES commended the bank for the intervention, saying ‘‘this, is timely and beneficial”.

She said, “This project is more than a borehole; it shows what can happen when corporate institutions and public service organizations partner for real impact.”

The bank, earlier, donated a Canon photocopier to the Agona Nkwanta Polyclinic to support healthcare delivery.
