Assin Manso (C/R), Mar. 13, GNA – Rev. Kojo Odame, Executive Director of the Kojo Odame Mission (KOMA), has launched an educational scholarship scheme for brilliant but needy students in the Assin South District of the Central Region.
The initiative, known as KOMA Adesua, aims to support talented yet financially disadvantaged students and help bridge the educational gap between privileged and needy learners.
Rev. Odame announced that the maiden beneficiaries comprise 14 students with diverse academic backgrounds from the Assin South District. Seven of them are from second cycle institutions, while the remaining seven are from tertiary institutions.


As part of the support, he also donated 1,500 exercise books to be distributed to several communities in the district, including Assin Bankyease, Bosomdwe, Manso, Adiembra and others.
Rev. Odame encouraged the students to pursue their education diligently and cultivate skills that would enable them to contribute positively to their communities in the future.
He noted that education was a transformative force capable of changing lives and creating opportunities for a better tomorrow.
Rev. Odame expressed hope that the beneficiaries would excel in their academic pursuits and give back to society when the opportunity arose.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Rev. Odame for the scholarship scheme and pledged to work hard in school and contribute to building a better country.
