Gomoa Ajumako (C/R), March 05, GNA- The Paramount Chief of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Obrempon Nyanful Krampah XI has sworn-in some 100 royal heads of family in all towns under the Council and charged them to be ambassadors to spear head developmental programmes to enhance human transformation.
The Paramount Chief, admonished heads of family to ensure that all petty squabbles and litigations within their families were amicably resolved to pave the way for massive development to promote quality living standards of the people.
The maiden event, first in the history of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, has been described by Divisional Chiefs, Sub-Chiefs, Queen mothers and other members of the Traditional Council as “historic” and “unprecedented.”
Obrempon Nyanful Krampah directed all the newly sworn in heads of family to install their family chiefs and present them before him by Tuesday March 31, 2026.
Addressing the heads before the event, he urged them to lead their people to undertake self-help developmental projects, including portable water, educational structures and healthcare facilities and other social amenities.
Obrempon Nyanful Krampah said the purpose of the event was to help move Gomoa Ajumako forward and that every town under the Traditional Council should at least have seven chiefs or more from each family to support the Odikros to help manage socio-economic advancement of the people.
Obrempon Nyanful Krampah charged heads of family to allocate some lands for the chiefs to enable them to function well.
Some heads of family and Divisional Chiefs who spoke to the media commended the Paramount Chief of the area for his high sense of responsibility and wisdom that had given chieftaincy the deserved respect and honour om the area.
They expressed optimism that the installation of chiefs from their families as directed by Obrempon Nyanful Krampah was a good move that would help them to get the needed support from the Traditional Council.
