Let’s support President Mahama to lay a solid infrastructure foundation for Ghana

Appolonia (GAR) Feb.10,GNA- Mr Daniel Tetteh, Board Chairman of Appolonia City, has rallied Ghanaians to support President John Mahama’s efforts to build critical infrastructure for Ghana’s economic development.

He said “There are road building materials all over and that should tell us that the President is seeing beyond his time. What we need to do is to support him so that future of Ghana will be brighter than this generation met it”‘

Mr Tetteh was speaking at the ground breaking ceremony for the construction and sealing of about 25 kilometers of roads within the estate to enhance internal vehicular and human movement.

The project serves as a model for infrastructure-led urban development, showcasing how disciplined, private-sector-led planning can effectively reshape the nation’s housing and economic landscape.

It involves the delivery of approximately 25 kilometres of high-quality asphalt roads, incorporating pedestrian walkways, cycling paths, kerbs, and comprehensive stormwater drainage systems.

It also represents a future where roads and services were delivered ahead of demand to improve mobility and enhance quality of life.

The Appolonia City concept, birthed by Mr Tetteh, reflects a deliberate, long-term commitment to infrastructure-led development.

Appolonia City is a 2,325-acre master-planned community designed to counteract the challenges of unplanned urban sprawl in the Greater Accra Region.

To date, over US$250 million has been invested in critical infrastructure, including a 75MVA primary substation and over 50 kilometres of utility networks.
