Accra, Jan. 31, GNA – Voting has begun in several constituencies nationwide in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary primaries, as delegates cast their ballots to select candidates for the upcoming general elections.

Polling centres across constituencies opened early, with party executives and electoral officials supervising the process to ensure transparency and adherence to party guidelines. Security personnel have been deployed to maintain order, while party agents observe proceedings at various centres.

The primaries are expected to shape the party’s parliamentary line-up, with both incumbent Members of Parliament and new aspirants vying for endorsement. Party leadership has urged delegates to conduct themselves peacefully and uphold the democratic values of the party.

Results from the primaries are anticipated later today, following the close of polls and counting at designated centres.
