Accra, Jan. 31, GNA – Voting in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries has officially ended across the country, with sorting and counting of ballots currently underway in some constituencies.

At several polling centres visited, the exercise concluded peacefully under the supervision of Electoral Commission officials, party agents and security personnel after which the sorting and counting process commenced in the presence of stakeholders.

So far, the process has been largely calm and orderly, with party leaders urging delegates and supporters to remain patient and uphold peace as the final results are awaited.
