Adzikame (VR), Jan. 3, GNA – The Prophet Julius Ajavon Foundation, a non-profit, faith-based organisation based in Akatsi in the Volta Region, has donated assorted items to widows, orphans and the aged at Adzikame.

The donation, which formed part of the Foundation’s core mandate of supporting vulnerable groups, included essential food items such as rice, spaghetti, cooking oil and other provisions.

Speaking at the presentation, Prophet Julius Ajavon, Founder and Leader of the Christ Salvation Church of All Nations (CSCOAN) and Founder of the Foundation, said the organisation would continue to bring hope to the hopeless.

“This exercise is to show care, love and a sense of belonging to the vulnerable and underprivileged in our communities,” he said.

He explained that the initiative was also aimed at demonstrating God’s love and care, while encouraging beneficiaries to look forward to a brighter future.

“This marks the seventh edition of the Foundation’s Christmas celebration drive. For the past six years, we have been giving hope to the hopeless, and we encourage our people to keep their hope alive in God,” Prophet Ajavon stated.

He commended partners of the Foundation for their commitment and support, noting that the donations would not only bring smiles to beneficiaries, but also improve their quality of life.

Prophet Ajavon further encouraged the beneficiaries to maintain their faith in God and remain hopeful for a better future.

Mr. Kennedy Biedo, Assembly Member for the area in the Akatsi South Municipality, expressed gratitude to Prophet Ajavon and his team for the kind gesture, and urged the beneficiaries to believe in themselves.

Madam Beauty Ameku, a beneficiary, on behalf of the others, expressed appreciation to the Foundation for support.

Some beneficiaries who spoke to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) commended the Foundation for the initiative and appealed to other benevolent organisations, individuals and groups to emulate the gesture to support the vulnerable in society.

In all, 140 beneficiaries benefited from the donation exercise.

The initiative underscored the power of love, compassion, and community support in transforming lives and restoring hope.
