Accra, Dec. 18, GNA – Maggi Ghana, a brand of Nestlé Ghana, in collaboration with Oseikrom Aduanipa, has organised a fufu party to promote Ghanaian cuisine and culture ahead of the Christmas season.
The event, dubbed “Food Party in a Park”, brought together food lovers, families and music enthusiasts in a lively atmosphere marked by traditional dishes, entertainment and cultural expression.
Miss Deborah Cobbler, Corporate Communication and Public Affairs Manager of Nestlé Ghana, said the event was inspired by the need to appreciate consumers and the public for their loyalty to the Maggi brand.
She said food was a unifying element across Ghanaian cultures, noting that although food preferences differed across regions, meals such as fufu continued to bring people together.
Miss Cobbler said the partnership with Oseikrom Aduanipa was timely, as both organisations shared a common goal of celebrating Ghanaian food and culture during the festive season.
She explained that while fufu was the highlight of the event, other food options such as waakye, tuo zaafi, light meals, snacks and grills were provided to ensure everyone found something to enjoy.

As the Brand Manager for Maggi, she said: “All the meals served at this event are prepared using Maggi and the brand has a strong connection with food operators and consumers, making the collaborations with Oseikrom Aduanipa essential to strengthening community bonds.”
She thanked consumers for their continuous support and loyalty, adding that Nestlé Ghana would continue to serve Ghanaians with their favourite food and beverage brands in the coming year.
Nana Prince Kweku Dweteh, Manager of Oseikrom Aduanipa, said the event was organised to promote Ghanaian food, culture and music in an engaging and family-friendly environment.
“The partnership with Nestlé Ghana reaffirms our commitment to celebrating Ghanaian heritage through food, music and shared experiences. This event also features live performances by artistes including Lord Paper, Keche, DS46, Kofi Jamar and Tule, adding excitement to the culinary experience,” he said.
The Manager praised the Maggi brand for its consistency and quality, noting that it had remained a trusted ingredient in the preparation of their meals over the years.
The event, which lasted into the night, formed part of activities to usher in the Christmas festivities while showcasing the richness of Ghanaian cuisine.
