Koforidua, (Eastern) Dec. 4, GNA – Four outstanding students of the School of Built and Natural Environment of the Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) have been honoured with Engineering Excellence Awards.

The awards, initiated by Engineer Ben Debrah, President of the Local Government Service Engineers Association, aim to inculcate the habit of excellence and national development drive in the minds of students as they exit into the working industry.

The awardees, two male and two female students, were honoured with certificates and plaques at the 22nd Congregation and 40th Anniversary Climax of the University in Cape Coast.

Engr. Debrah, an alumnus of the University (2002 year group) and African Ambassador for Engineering Excellence, presented the awards and charged students to work hard and be committed to their studies to become Ambassadors of the University and solvers of societal problems.
